Boldfish Video | Professional Video Production for Governments, Corporations & Non-Profits

About Boldfish Video Production

Shaping stories that inspire
viewers to take action.

Authentic storytelling lies at the heart of all great videos. In a digital world where viewers have trillions of different choices, it’s authentic, entertaining, and meaningful content that connects people with brands and drives them to share. Work with us to craft a message that is specific, genuine, collaborative, and helps preserve the agency of the people whose stories are being told.

Greg Meeres

Founder & Creative Producer

Greg is a visual storyteller, strategist, and collaborator at heart. With a background in television and over 20 years running Boldfish Video, he has built a career helping organizations tell stories that matter—clearly, creatively, and with purpose.

Whether working with a healthcare organization, corporate team, government agency, or local non-profit, Greg’s goal is simple: make video feel easy, meaningful, and even enjoyable. He brings curiosity, calm under pressure, and a healthy dose of straight-up honesty to every project—along with deep respect for the time and trust clients give him.

As a bold entrepreneur, Greg is always looking ahead—balancing strategic investments with long-term stability. He strives to lead with both bravery and pragmatism, tackling complex, often uncomfortable realities from the solid moral foundation of his faith. He embraces criticism thoughtfully and works hard to instill confidence in both his team and his clients.

Over the course of his career, Greg has filmed in over 43 countries, often in extreme or high-risk conditions—from capturing earthquake recovery in Haiti and refugee stories in Iraq, to covering sex trafficking awareness in Southeast Asia and education initiatives in the Andes. His passion for human-centered storytelling has brought him into jungles, war zones, mountain ranges, and city streets, always with the goal of amplifying voices that are too often overlooked.

Outside of Boldfish, life looks a little different. Greg and his wife, Charlotte—former CBC camerawoman—live on a five-acre farm in Aldergrove, where she runs Liberty Farm, a multi-faceted business rooted in natural horsemanship, dog breeding, and therapeutic work with both humans and animals. Greg helps where he can: building fences, running the tractor, fixing plumbing, roofing, landscaping, electrical… and being married to a woman who never sits still.

Fun fact? Greg once played a hockey player in the original Happy Gilmore.
Less fun fact? He’s been held at gunpoint while filming in Mozambique.

It’s a full and fulfilling life. Whether on the farm or on set, it’s the kind of life where your hands get dirty, the coffee stays strong, and the work actually means something. Greg believes stories, when told with care, have the power to move people and create change.
